I heard someone say to download or upload a mb on the internet wastes x amount of energy. (Cant remember the figure). How much energy / electricity / coal does it waste to download or upload 1 mb?

I’ve seen TV performances with grinders, saws, hammers, etc. I’m helping a HS drama group.

I recently acquired a hand-cranked meat grinder from a friend who thought I needed one. It looks pretty heavy-duty. What can I do with this lovely gift apart from making ground meat? I hear that one can mash potatoes, but what else? Answers need not be food related.
